OBERIG d.o.o. is a software development company registered in Slovenia, European Union. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What data we collect and why
When you contact us
If you fill in the contact form, send an email, or book a call through Calendly, we collect your name, email address, and whatever you include in your message. We use this to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.
When you visit the website
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site, which pages are visited, how long people stay, where traffic comes from. This data is anonymised and aggregated. We do not track individual users across other websites.
We use Cookiebot to manage cookie consent. You can change your preferences at any time.
When you become a client
To deliver our services we collect contact details of people involved in the project, names, email addresses, occasionally phone numbers. This is used strictly for project communication and is deleted or anonymised when the engagement ends, unless retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.
Legal basis for processing
- Contract performance, data needed to deliver the services you have engaged us for.
- Legitimate interests, responding to inquiries from potential clients.
- Legal obligation, data retained for accounting and tax purposes under Slovenian law.
- Consent, analytics cookies and any marketing communications you have opted into.
How long we keep data
Inquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after 12 months. Client project data is retained for 7 years as required by Slovenian accounting law. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with tools we use to operate:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Calendly, for scheduling calls
- Email providers and project management tools used during client engagements
All tools we use are either EU-based or operate under standard contractual clauses providing GDPR-equivalent protections.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain types of processing. Email us at info@oberig.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (ip-rs.si).
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and to remember your consent preferences. Refusing analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.
